Customer/User should read the Terms agreement (and Disclaimer) carefully before viewing this website or purchasing from Lovely Victoriana. By viewing or using this site, the Customer/User agrees to be bound by this agreement.
All information, services and letter subscriptions are provided "as is" without any kind of warranty. In no way shall Lovely Victoriana be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that may arise from the use of this site or any of the services and/or information obtained through this site or through any/all third-party links/websites. Any issues and/or complaints with a product ordered through a third-party must be directed to that third-party.
Customer/User agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Lovely Victoriana from any kind of liability, loss, claim and expense, which includes attorney fees related to your violation of this agreement.
Customer/User agrees to provide us with true and accurate identification and up-to-date and complete address information. You agree not to impersonate/use the identity of anyone else.
Your private/personal information is secure with us and will remain confidential. It will NEVER be sold or shared.
Customer/User agrees that he/she is over the age of 18.
Customer/User understands that Lovely Victoriana reserves the right to change, update or modify our TOS and other website and/or product content, including subscriptions and any services, at any time without prior notice.
Lovely Victoriana reserves the right to reverse a payment if, by any means, a transaction contains shipping information that is deemed inaccurate, incorrect, suspicious, or for any other reason deemed necessary, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to refuse and/or cancel any order or payment for any reason whatsoever and/or restrict any order by anyone at any time for any reason, at our sole discretion.
Customer/User acknowledges and understands that Lovely Victoriana does not accept returns or provide refunds. Letters can not be returned and money cannot be refunded after purchase, either in part or in whole, at any time.
Customer/User acknowledges and understands that Lovely Victoriana does not provide free trials for any letter subscription.
Customer/User acknowledges and agrees that they are purchasing letter subscriptions "as is". Lovely Victoriana does not accept requests for personalization or extras to be provided. We do not guarantee that any products and/or services offered through Lovely Victoriana will satisfy and/or meet expectations. There are no guarantees on product and/or service quality, paper thickness or colour, font sizes, spelling, designs, materials, image clarity, or quantities. We do not guarantee that products will always look exactly as they appear in photos.
Customer/User understands that there may be rare occurrences of typographical errors and other printing errors or omissions.
We reserve the right to modify, change or update product and/or service appearance, content, descriptions, text, graphics, images and/or pricing, at our sole discretion, at any time without prior notice.
Customer/User acknowledges, understands and agrees that Lovely Victoriana reserves the right to delay, postpone, cancel, discontinue, suspend any product and/or any service at any time and for any reason, without prior notice, and Lovely Victoriana shall not be held liable whatsoever for any harm and/or losses that any of these may incur.
Customer/User acknowledges and agrees that it is their sole responsibility to purchase the correct letter story from the Lovely Victoriana collection. Customer/User acknowledges and understands that they cannot switch for another letter story from the collection once receiving their selected letter story. Customer/User must purchase a subscription for any other story that they wish to receive.
Customer/User acknowledges and understands that each letter may contain a different amount of pages depending on the length of each portion of the story. There is no guarantee that all letters will contain exactly the same amount of pages.
Customer/User acknowledges and understands that upon purchasing more than one letter subscription (multiple letters), there is no guarantee that the letters will arrive in the mail on the same date. Letters tend to get separated at the postal facilities and/or get processed at different times and therefore may occasionally arrive at their destination(s) on separate dates.
Customer/User acknowledges and understands that letters are sent out on designated mailing dates (unless otherwise stated) but actual delivery dates (to their destination) are beyond our control and may vary from month to month.
Lovely Victoriana sends all letters through Canada Post. We take great care in how we handle our products and we take great pride in our quick and timely shipping practices. However, when letters leave our facility and are in the hands of the postal service, we are no longer responsible for the letters and/or the condition in which they arrive to the recipient and/or the length of time in which they arrive to the recipient. This is beyond our control. Customer/User acknowledges that letters may accidentally become torn, ripped, wet, stained, wrinkled, worn, faded or missing during the shipping process. Customer/User acknowledges that this is beyond our control.
Lovely Victoriana reserves the right to delay any of the mailing date(s) of letters due to inclement weather or for any other reason deemed necessary.
Lovely Victoriana reserves the right to delay the mailing date(s) of letters due to a shortage in supplies and/or while waiting for supplies to arrive. In this event, the mailing date(s) will be postponed until a later date. The new date will be announced.
Customer/User acknowledges and agrees that Lovely Victoriana is not responsible and shall not be held liable for any comments (by you or anyone else), copyright or intellectual property infringements, inaccurate information, or inappropriate behaviour (by you or anyone else) on our website or on our social media and other third-party websites.
Customer/User acknowledges and understands that all content on the Lovely Victoriana website, including logo, text, images, original artwork and illustrations, ideas and all material on our website and in our letters is protected by Canadian and International trademark and copyright laws.
A personal note from the owners of Lovely Victorians: Do NOT steal logos, images, text, original artwork and illustrations or any material, in part or in whole, from this website or from our letters. Infringers will be caught! We take great measures to protect our original content.
Any/all copyright infringements are considered a crime and are punishable by law.

Lovely Victoriana takes no responsibility for any of the content/products/materials used in the manufacturing of any of the packaging, labels, papers, inks or envelopes used for our letter subscriptions. All supplies are purchased from a third-party manufacturer and Lovely Victoriana shall not be held liable for any damages, directly or indirectly, any allergies to materials or any mishaps, losses or harm from the usage or handling of these commonly-used materials.
It is the sole responsibility of the customer for however they decide to use, handle and store any products/services obtained through Lovely Victoriana.
We always do our best to make sure that your letters arrive on time, safely and in great condition but sometimes things happen, during shipping, which are beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, wear and tear from rough handling in postal facilities and dampness due to inclement weather during the shipping process.
On occasion, a letter may go missing in the mailing system. This, too, is beyond our control and we recommend allowing sufficient time for letter delivery. If, by chance, a letter has not arrived within a reasonable amount of time and you are concerned about it, please feel free to contact us and we will look into it and see what we can do to make it right.
The writings/storylines in our letters and all characters are a work of fiction by the authors and owners of Lovely Victoriana. Any resemblance or similarities in our main characters, either in illustrations/images or text, to actual persons, alive or dead, is unintended and completely coincidental unless otherwise stated (as in the case with true historical figures and/or places).
All products/services/letters are provided "as is" for entertainment purposes only. Though we have done a great amount of research and strive for historical accuracy, we do not claim to be accredited, authorized, specialized, or 100% accurate. We do not claim, in any way, to be experts or historians. All products/letters are works of fiction and based on true locations and are loosely based around true time eras and events.
